In a society where we are bombarded with visual information it may be hard to slow down and turn a glance to a gaze. As a very busy person something must be complex in order to keep my attention. I find greatest joy when something forces me to stop whether it be in the making of the piece or the search for representational images when viewing the work. In this work my goal is to entrap the viewer into the different worlds that I have created, and force them to spend time with it in order to absorb all of the information. I also hope that in subsequent viewings new and different images will appear.
The works of Rauschenberg and Dubuffet are very interesting in the way they express the world around them. Similarly, I attempt to express my own reactions to my enviroment and life with the same intensity.
